Hey man this is a big jump from what your previous work, I'm loving the orange beard guy's face, the way it's drawn and all.
As for critique, just a reminder not to get lost in rendering and forget about the major light source. Where is the light coming from right now? The torch is definitely one, but where does the spec of light come from on the orangebeardman's forehead? It's coming from a right-ish direction. So I suggest you either change it, or you include a secondary light source on his right somewhere.

Then again now that I think again, I'm not sure if you want to add the light source on the right. Reason is, it may affect the overall composition from all the values in the image. You have to test it, because I can't visualize it. Just giving this to keep in mind later on when you get back to finishing it.

Cheers man.

Looks neat. I think you're definitely in the right direction. I think you could profit by using a stronger light source and also using some cast shadows.. Its really amazing how shadows can pop things out ( nowi dont mean using black or extremely dark colours but i am talkina bout your lights might need to be lighter and darks a bit darker) Also theres no harm in using contrast ie ( warms vs cools , lighst and darks , hard and softs ) to lead the eye! Just some thoughts! keep going
